A young child fell out of an apartment window in Mott Haven, the FDNY says.
Emergency personnel were called to 593 Oak Terrace just before 6:45 p.m. Friday.
According to fire officials, the child – believed to be under the age of 4 – fell into the rear yard of the building.
Paramedics rushed the child to Harlem Pediatrics.
The FDNY says the child was conscious and alert.
The exact height of the fall was not immediately known.
