Walker is an original cast member now returning to the show, while Mach makes his Broadway principal debut in a role he previously played on the national tour.

Ben Jackson Walker and Corey Mach will join the cast of & Juliet on Broadway this August at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.

Walker originated the role of Romeo in the Broadway production from 2022-24, and he reprises that role starting August 13. Mach will make his Broadway principal debut in the role of Shakespeare, whom he played on & Juliet’s national tour from 2024-25, starting August 4.

Current cast members Drew Gehling (Shakespeare) and Liam Pearce (Romeo) will play their final performances on August 2 and 9, respectively.

Continuing cast members include Gianna Harris as Juliet, Joey Fatone and Paulo Szot alternating as Lance throughout the summer, Chrissy Metz as Angelique (through September 13), Alison Luff as Anne, Michael Iván Carrier as May, and Nathan Levy as François.

& Juliet picks up where Shakespeare’s classic tragedy leaves off — except, Juliet decides not to die and travels to Paris instead for a second shot at life after Romeo. Her story is set to 30 pop hits from the Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, Kelly Clarkson, and more.
