NEW YORK (PIX11) — The severe threat is over in the tri-state region as a storm system spawned two tornadoes in New Jersey and flooding downpours on Tuesday.
While all advisories have been dropped, there may still be a threat for additional storms on Wednesday, but they are not expected to be severe.

A few scattered storms will still be around for the rest of Tuesday night. It will remain very humid as overnight temperatures drop into the lower 70s.
Skies will be partly sunny on Wednesday as temperatures rise into the lower 80s. A trailing cold front could still bring the threat of additional storms in the afternoon. For now, it does not look to be as strong as they were on Tuesday.
The rest of the week looks great. An area of high pressure will move in from the Midwest and settle around for the next couple of days.
Both Thursday and Friday look to feature mostly sunny skies and low levels of humidity. Temperatures are expected to top out at around 80 degrees.
The weekend will feature a few more clouds, but it will stay dry. It will remain comfortable as temperatures hover around 80 degrees.
