MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A man in his 30s was listed as the victim of a phone scam Tuesday evening in Manhattan, officials said.
Riley County police filed a report of fraud at approximately 6:01 p.m. Tuesday at an undisclosed location in Manhattan.
Police listed a 35-year-old man as the victim when it was reported an unknown person claimed to be calling from the victim’s bank, asking the victim to CashApp funds to a different account.
