QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) — Know the best spot for sushi in Queens? Nominate them for the Queens’ Best Sushi Competition!
The Queens Chamber of Commerce is asking New Yorkers to weigh in on their favorite sushi restaurant in the borough.
The public can nominate and vote for their favorite spots across Queens that serve exceptional nigiri, maki, uramaki, sashimi and more.
The Chamber is accepting nominations from the public until next Thursday, July 30, through this form.
Public voting will run from Monday, Aug. 3, to Wednesday, Aug. 12.
The winner will be crowned Queens’ best sushi at an event on Wednesday, Aug. 19, earning bragging rights and a complimentary membership to the Queens Chamber of Commerce.
The second‑ and third‑place finishers will receive certificates.
This year marks the 15th “Best of Queens” food competition, a boroughwide tradition that has already settled some of Queens’ most passionate culinary debates, from the best pizza and burgers to top halal, empanadas, barbecue, tacos, frozen desserts, bagels, pad thai, tavern fare, bakeries, delis, soups and craft beer.
