DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — A FIRESIDE CHAT with Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez will take place July 22 at 9 Bond St.
“Pathways to Public Service: Leadership, Justice and Community Impact” will cover leadership lessons from the Brooklyn DA’s office, advancing justice and community engagement, building meaningful impact through advocacy and service, and career advice for aspiring attorneys and public servants.
The chat will be hosted by the Puerto Rican Bar Association of New York’s Young Attorney’s Committee and moderated by Hon. Patrick Torres Hayes. The panel will be composed of Gonzalez, Puerto Rican Bar Association President Lillian Mosley, and Kathleen Garcia-Aracena, co-chair of the Young Attorney’s Committee.
The Young Attorneys Committee of the Puerto Rican Bar Association of New York is dedicated to supporting attorneys in the early stages of their legal careers through professional development, mentorship, networking and leadership opportunities. The committee helps newly admitted attorneys transition from law school into practice by connecting them with experienced practitioners, offering career guidance and organizing educational and social events. It also oversees the Puerto Rican Bar Association Scholars Network, which includes former recipients of the association’s scholarships.
