After rewearing her floral embroidered Pertegaz midi dress during the day, Queen Letizia of Spain re-wore a formal look in a gown by The 2nd Skin Co. and Diamond Loop Tiara for a royal dinner in honor of Oman’s Sultan and Prime Minister Haitham Bin Tariq in Madrid on Tuesday.

The queen consort of Spain re-wore the long-sleeve gown, featuring feminine touches like bows at the ends of the cuffs. Crafted in a satin fabric that created a glowing sheen, the blue gown was designed with a fitted bodice with a belted waist for a defined silhouette.

The voluminous, full skirt flowed to the carpet of the Royal Palace, creating a train effect that trailed Queen Letizia as she made her grand entrance. Curated by Spanish designers Antonio Burillo and Juan Carlos Fernández, the blue dress was adorned with the silver Order of Oman collar to commemorate the sultan and prime minister of Oman’s visit.

The final touch was Queen Letizia’s historic Diamond Loop Tiara. Originally commissioned for Queen Maria Cristina in the late 19th century, the tiara features upright diamond loops with white pearls at the center of each sinuous turn.

Queen Letizia’s wardrobe selections for the state gala dinner on Tuesday night was a near-exact replica of the Spanish royal’s attire for the state banquet at the Royal Palace in Amsterdam, Netherlands, in April 2024, during the Spanish royals‘ state visit to the country.

There were, however, a few subtle differences between the 2024 and 2025 iterations of the look. During her trip to The Netherlands, Queen Letizia added a traditional yellow sash with a pearl broach to her dress, along with another pendant near her waist.

Much like other European royals, such as Kate Middleton and Queen Camilla of the U.K., Queen Letizia of Spain is a frequent re-wearer, returning to pieces from her royal wardrobe time and again for formal and daytime engagements. The trend echoes a conscious, more sustainable approach some royals are taking to their designer wardrobe pieces.
