A 25-year-old man was stabbed, sustaining an injury to his back, during an argument in Queens early Saturday morning, police said.

According to law enforcement sources, the incident occurred inside 96-21 Atlantic Ave. in Woodhaven at around 5 a.m. on July 25. Police said the victim got into a verbal dispute with two men, whom he did not know, that escalated when one of the suspects allegedly stabbed him in the upper left side of his back, causing a laceration.

Following the bloody attack, the two suspects immediately fled on foot to parts unknown before officers from the 102nd Precinct arrived at the scene. EMS brought the victim to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where police sources said he “does not appear in critical condition.”

Police released a photo of one of the suspects on Sunday. Both suspects remain at large and are described as having dark complexions and are approximately 25 to 30 years old.
