For a year, New Yorkers looked to the skies hoping to catch a glimpse of Flaco, the Eurasian eagle-owl who escaped from the Central Park Zoo and became one of the city’s most surprising celebrities.

Now this extraordinary story is the subject of a new documentary called “Wild Inside.”

Director Penny Lane joined NY1 to talk about Flaco, the film’s world premiere in Central Park and then run at the IFC Center afterwards.
