Josie Bunte, who will be a seventh grader this fall at South Knox Middle High School, cleans off the wing feathers of a rooster she will show this year at the Knox County Fair. Her dad, Bryan Bunte, holds onto the bird while the 4-Her works her magic on the six-pound bird. Not only will she be showing eight birds this year, but she has also created a scrumptious coffee cake to compete in the baked good category.
