A 20-year-old man was stabbed in the Norwood section of the Bronx in the early hours of Sunday, July 26, police said.

A police spokeswoman said the incident occurred at around 0.37 a.m. on Sunday at 3700 Jerome Avenue, which is a bar / club located under the Woodlawn subway station at the intersection of Jerome Avenue and Bainbridge Avenue.

She said the victim incurred a stab wound to the back and another stab wound to the shoulder. “He was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition,” the spokeswoman said.

 

“There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing,” she added.

Norwood News visited the bar on Sunday and asked an employee about the incident. “I don’t know anything about that,” he said.
