Comedian and actor John Mulaney is coming back to Manhattan, and this time he’s traveling throughout the city. The former SNL writer will play nine NYC venues in January 2027 as part of his Mulaney Takes Manhattan comedy tour, as first reported by The Today Show.
The venues include the Music Box Theatre on Broadway, as well as Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall. The complete schedule is below.

Said Mulaney on Today: “This is really a great way to do the intimate small places. I love playing here, building up to Madison Square Garden, doing Radio City (Music Hall). I filmed a special at Radio City—to go back there, it’s going to be really cool.”
Though Mulaney is primarily known as a comedian, he has appeared on Broadway twice. The first time was in 2016 when he created and starred in Oh, Hello on Broadway with Nick Kroll. He last appeared in 2024 as a celebrity guest star in All In: Comedy About Love. Theatre fans may best know Mulaney for creating the spoof documentary Original Cast Album: Co-Op, where he parodied the famed 1970 documentary Original Cast Album: Company, which detailed the difficult process of recording the cast album for the Stephen Sondheim-George Furth musical Company. Mulaney also created the musical comedy special John Mulaney & the Sack Lunch Bunch, which can be streamed on Netflix.
