Brooklyn Golf Yards’ Mini Golf Course | Marine Park | NOW OPEN
The long-closed Mini Golf course at Brooklyn Golf Yards is now open. They welcome families, camps, birthday parties, and community groups, creating another affordable outdoor destination for kids and families this summer. Beyond mini golf, the team has revitalized Brooklyn Golf Yards into the only driving range in Brooklyn where golfers can hit a full driver, while offering lessons, camps, leagues, and programs that introduce new players to the game and help others improve their skills.
Asser Levy Park Playground | Coney Island | NOW REOPEN
Asser Levy Park Playground was damaged and has now been repaired. Stop by this beautiful playground for some summer fun. It is right off the Coney Island boardwalk.
Village Vibes | Gravesend | NOW OPEN
A new community space made of approximately 450,000 recycled corks has opened at the Marlboro Houses in Gravesend. Check out the Cork Collective for more information and information on future projects.

Lidl | Williamsburg | Opening date TBA
Another 27,0000-square-foot location of Lidl is slated to open soon on the ground floor of 597 Grand Street in Williamsburg. The new store will occupy a mixed-use retail and residential building between Leonard and Lorimer Streets, which was the former site of a Key Foods. Similar to Trader Joe’s and Aldi, Lidl offers a broad assortment of products, including its 49-cent butter croissants, private-label Butcher’s Specialty meats, and Bon Gelati mini ice cream bars. Shoppers can also find gourmet favorites like frozen tiramisu, aged Parmigiano Reggiano, and authentic prosciutto.
Arizona College of Nursing | Downtown Brooklyn | Opening date TBA
Arizona College of Nursing is opening its first New York campus after signing a 10-year lease for 40,000 square feet at 532 Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn. The Glendale, Arizona–based school will occupy the sixth through eighth floors of the Paxton, a 43-story mixed-use tower near Borough Hall and MetroTech.
Erudite Preschool | Boerum Hill | Opening date TBA
Erudite Preschool is a Russian immersion daycare and preschool for children ages 6 months to 5 years. They have signed a lease at 526 Baltic Street which is the Baltic Canal building.
Whole Foods | Cobble Hill | Opening date TBA
According to Crain’s, Whole Foods has signed a lease to take over the corner storefront at 182 Smith Street between Warren Street and Wyckoff Street, right on the border of Cobble Hill and Boerum Hill. The approximately 35,000 square feet space was recently vacated by Rite Aid following the pharmacy chain’s ongoing bankruptcy closures. While rumors of a grocery store taking over the spot have been swirling, the newly inked lease confirms that the national grocer is planting its flag on Smith Street. Because the lease was just signed, there is no official timeline yet for the build-out or opening day.
Blooming Prep is opening its first school at 168 Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights, taking over a former CVS location that has also been a seasonal October location for the Halloween store Spirit Halloween. They have also signed a second lease at 395 Carroll Street in Gowanus. The preschool will implement a Reggio Emilia curriculum.
Prospect Park Vale | Prospect Park | Reopening 2027
The Prospect Park Vale restoration began this month and expects to conclude in 2027. This $37.5 million, 8-acre project is the single largest capital allocation to Prospect Park since Lakeside back in 2010-2013. A new children’s nature exploration area is part of the design!
