NEW YORK CITY (WABC) — We are celebrating Chief Meteorologist Lee Goldberg!
Wednesday marks 30 years of Lee working at WABC-TV.
His first day on the job was July 29, 1996, and his first day on the air was two weeks later.
Fun fact: 814 inches of snow have fallen in Central Park since Lee’s first day on the job.
That’s almost 68 feet.
Happy anniversary, Lee. Here’s to several more years of forecasting!
