Dairy Queen’s Miracle Treat Day is Thursday, July 30, where all Dairy Queen locations nationwide are participating in the event.

MACON, Ga. — The Navicent Health Foundation hosted its Blizzard Party on Tuesday ahead of Dairy Queen’s annual Miracle Treat Day, giving patients at the children hospital a sweet treat ahead of the yearly fundraiser.

In Macon, donations from the Thursday fundraiser will go to Atrium Health’s children’s hospital — where the Blizzard Party was held on Tuesday.

“[Miracle Treat Day] helps provide care and support of the children that we serve here; so specialized equipment, support services that we’re able to provide to our children and families,” Diana Sutton, president and chief nursing officer for the children’s hospital, said.

Dairy Queen’s annual Miracle Treat Day is a partnership between Dairy Queen and Children’s Miracle Network, where $1 from each blizzard bought will be donated to help children in the network.

“It gives support services to our child life program to help normalize the child’s experience while they’re in the hospital as well,” Sutton said.

These donations provide critical funding for life-saving treatments and essential services for kids in need. Your support helps ensure that every child receives the care they deserve.

At the Blizzard Party, pediatric patients had the opportunity to create their own Blizzard treats.

Last year, the Dairy Queen in Gray raised $180,000 during Miracle Treat Day, which is one of the top fundraisers for the Miracle Treat Day in the country. Unlike other locations, The Gray Dairy Queen donates all revenue on Miracle Treat Day to the children’s hospital network.
