A 17-year-old boy is dead after he collided with a vehicle in Lower Manhattan on Wednesday morning.
The teen was riding an e-bike at the time of the incident, which has become more common across the city.
Dr. Rahul Sharma, the chief of emergency medicine at Weill Cornell and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, joined “The Rush Hour” on Thursday to talk about safety tips for e-bike riders and pedestrians.
