RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – Dairy Queen locations across western South Dakota and Wyoming are participating Thursday in the annual Miracle Treat Day, with a portion of each Blizzard sale going to the Monument Health Children’s Miracle Network.
For every Blizzard sold, participating locations donate $1 or more directly to the network. Organizers said all funds raised stay within the region to support local children and families facing critical medical challenges.
Funds from the event go toward life-saving medical equipment, patient comfort items, and financial assistance for families who travel long distances to access pediatric care.
The 2026 CMN Champion, identified as Claire, was among those whose story was highlighted during the event.
Dairy Queen locations taking part in Miracle Treat Day span the region, including stores in Rapid City, Box Elder, Hot Springs, Custer, Sturgis, Spearfish, Lead, Deadwood, Belle Fourche, Wall, and Gillette, Wyoming.
Organizers said community support from the event will have a lasting impact on local pediatric patients.
