A 10-foot-tall satirical trophy appeared in Foley Square earlier this week in mockery of President Donald Trump’s foreign policy decisions.
The trophy, adorned with ornaments and other items around its base—including a WWE championship belt—first appeared on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., on July 13.
The golden monument, designed by the anonymous art collective Secret Handshake, sits just a few blocks from the Manhattan courthouse where Trump faced his hush money trial in 2024.

A plaque at the trophy’s base emphasizes his “enthusiastic involvement in the Iran War.”
“We hereby award President Donald J. Trump this participation trophy for his enthusiastic involvement in the Iran War,” the plaque reads. “While some concern themselves with military strategy, diplomacy, or measurable outcomes, President Trump demonstrated the courage to participate regardless of the final score.”
The installation will remain on display throughout the week.
The artist said they hope New Yorkers will continue to help the collection grow, noting, “No accomplishment is too distant, too small, or too unearned to bestow on President Trump.”
