Former councilman and state senator looks at AIDS activism

New York City was the epicenter of the AIDS crisis during the 1980s and 90s, sparking a wave of political activism.

Now that era is the subject of a digital exhibit created by the LaGuardia and Wagner Archives at LaGuardia Community College.

Tom Duane, a former City Council member and state senator, joined NY1’s Bobby Cuza on “Inside City Hall” Friday to talk about the digital exhibit.
