Lynn devoted her life to serving others, working as an assistant to State Senator John J. Marchi, being an active member of the Richmond County Republican Party, and retiring from Stuyvesant High School in Manhattan. Her compassion extended to her role on the Board of Directors at Amethyst House, a halfway house for women.
