BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — A woman was assaulted in her home and robbed of more than $300,000 during a home invasion, police said.
Investigators are asking for the public’s help identifying three men accused of displaying knives and a firearm before forcing their way into her residence around 10:15 p.m. Thursday near 168th Street and Ogden Avenue in the Bronx.
Once inside, the men assaulted the 39‑year‑old victim, removed her clothing, blindfolded her and bound her hands and feet with duct tape, police said.
She suffered multiple injuries and was taken by EMS to a local hospital, where she was listed in stable condition.
The suspects stole an estimated $343,000 in jewelry, cash, perfumes and a cellphone before running off, according to police.
