MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A woman was arrested over the weekend following an injury crash involving a sport utility vehicle and a motorcycle on the northeast side of Manhattan, officials said.
Riley County police responded to the collision around 9:57 p.m. Saturday near Tuttle Creek Boulevard and Marlatt Avenue.
According to Riley County Police officials, responding officers found that a 2013 Nissan Rogue, driven by Hanna Marie Helget, 20, of Westmorland, had crashed into the back of a 2008 Yamaha motorcycle ridden by Ryder Rice, 20, of Fort Riley.

As a result of injuries he sustained in the crash, Rice was transported to Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan. There was no immediate information on the extent of his injuries.
Officials said Helget was arrested at approximately 10:36 p.m. Saturday in connection with one count of aggravated battery; driving under the influence causing bodily harm; and one count of driving under the influence of drugs pr alcohol.
Helget was issued a total bond of $20,000 and was no longer in the Riley County Jail as of Monday morning, officials said.
