The Public Theater will host another entry in their Public Forum series at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park August 10.
The evening, titled Division and Renewal, will feature two-time Tony winner Cynthia Nixon joined by Harvard professor and philosopher Michael Sandel for a group discussion on the polarization of the current American landscape, and what we can do to fix it.
A Tony winner for her performances in Rabbit Hole and The Little Foxes, stage and screen star Nixon has also devoted much of her offstage life to political activism, including a run to be governor of New York in 2018. Though that campaign was unsuccessful, Nixon has remained a powerful voice in New York City’s political scene.
