Dairy Queen is ringing in fall early.

The fast food chain announced on Aug. 3 that it is dropping a new Caramel Apple Cheesecake Blizzard as the August Blizzard of the Month, along with several other new Blizzard flavors in time for the fall season.

The Caramel Apple Cheesecake Blizzard features soft serve blended with cheesecake pieces and caramel apple topping, delivering “cozy flavors… in a cool, creamy treat,” per a press release.

According to the release, the August flavor is meant to encapsulate how summer is winding down and “fall cravings” are beginning.

“It’s a delicious way to satisfy seasonal cravings while the weather is still warm,” the chain said in the release.

Also throughout the month of August, from Aug. 3 to Aug. 30, Dairy Queen is offering a Double Flip digital offer, in which rewards members can buy one Blizzard Treat and get a second for 99 cents in the chain’s app.

The offer can be redeemed once each day until Aug. 30.

The deal is “a playful nod to the iconic upside-down flip that has made the classic treats famous,” according to the brand.

Dairy Queen also announced its Fall Treat Collection, which lands in stores on Aug. 31 for a limited time.

The menu includes the return of the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard Treat, which has pumpkin pie pieces blended with soft serve and topped with whipped topping and nutmeg.

Also featured is the new Brown Sugar Cookie Dough Blizzard, which swirls brown sugar cookie dough and brown sugar topping into soft serve.

Finally, the fall treat items include a new Toasted Marshmallow Mocha DQ Coffee Cooler. The drink is made with cold brew blended with soft serve. The cup is swirled with cocoa fudge, while the beverage is topped with more cocoa fudge, along with whipped topping.

Dairy Queen released other new flavors earlier this summer in honor of the World Cup and America’s 250th anniversary.

On June 29, Dairy Queen released a new lineup of three Blizzard Cups inspired by the soccer tournament.

The trio included the Mochi Blizzard, which had strawberry topping blended with soft serve and studded with mango-flavored mochi pieces.

Also featured in the lineup was the Biscoff Cookie Blizzard and a Mexican-style Hot Chocolate Blizzard, which had Abuelita hot chocolate mix, chocolate chunks, fudge-covered marshmallows and cocoa fudge.

In honor of America’s 250th birthday, the company launched the Stars & Stripes Misty Slush Float, which layered Cherry Misty Slush, soft serve and blue raspberry Misty Slush. Star sprinkles capped off the red, white and blue patriotic effect.
