Assemblyman Colton, Councilmember Zhuang’s Supply Giveaway
WHERE: Outside Assemblyman Colton’s office, 155 Kings Highway
WHEN: Monday, August 10, from 3:30pm to 5:30pm
District 47 Assemblyman William Colton and City Councilmember Susan Zhuang will be holding a school supply giveaway in conjunction with Halal Food Connection. Backpacks, pencils and pencil cases will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Students must be present to receive supplies.

Optimum and Warner Bros. Discovery are distributing nearly 1,000 backpacks in the Bronx and Brooklyn.

New York State of Mind community organization is hosting a Back 2 School Bonanza, distributing school supplies on a first-come, first-served basis. The event will feature themed activities and appearances by Superman, Supergirl and Captain America.

Brooklyn Musician Lyrikal is partnering with Caribbean American Center to give away free backpacks and supplies, and will host music and games.

New York City School District 19 is hosting a free fun day and giveaway in Canarsie Park for students ages 4-14. Students must be present to receive supplies.

Free food, drinks and music for families as well as back-to-school supplies. Registration is open until August 14, and is required for the event, along with submission of uniform sizes.
