The department said the investigation ended July 31, 2026, and led detectives to identify Joseph Diaz-Herra, 20, of Carroll Place in the Bronx, New York, as the suspect.
According to the police department, the case began after someone unlawfully used a victim’s credit card information at the Stafford store. Police reported the card details were manually entered to buy about $973 worth of assorted flooring products.
