NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — New Yorkers will begin seeing information on how to access free legal immigration support, in multiple languages and across all five boroughs, as part of a new citywide campaign.
The NYC Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs has launched a month‑long advertising effort to highlight its free, safe and confidential Immigration Legal Support Hotline. The information will appear in print, digital and radio ads.
The $300,000 campaign was funded by the New York City Council in Fiscal Year 2026.
Ads will reach New Yorkers in 17 languages, including English, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Pulaar, Tibetan, Tagalog, Nepali, Kichwa, Soninke, Arabic, Punjabi, French, Haitian Creole, Urdu, Wolof and Min Nan.

Printed and radio ads will run in community and ethnic media outlets, while digital ads will appear on different social media platforms.
New Yorkers, regardless of immigration status, can call the free and confidential Immigration Legal Support Hotline at 1‑800‑354‑0365, or dial 311 and say, “Immigration Legal.”
Hours of operation for NYC’s free immigration support hotline:
Monday: 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Tuesday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Wednesday: 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Thursday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
“This month, we’re bringing that legal support directly into our communities, in seventeen languages, through the newspapers people read, the radio stations they listen to and the neighborhoods they call home,” Mayor Zohran Mamdani said. “If we say New York is a city that welcomes immigrants, then we have a responsibility to make sure every New Yorker knows where to turn for help. That is exactly what we’re doing.”
