MOHAWK, N.Y. — The New York State Police said it needs the public’s help finding a missing teenager with “special needs.”
The state police said it is searching for 15-year-old Doltin E. Johnson. He was reported missing from his home on Horseshow Lane in Mohawk, N.Y., on the morning of Aug. 4.
The police said Johnson was last seen leaving his home around 5:30 a.m. and “believed” to have traveled in an unknown direction.
Johnson is described as 6 feet 2 inches tall, 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black shorts and no shoes.
He was also carrying two blankets: A blue and green SpongeBob blanket and a second blanket of an unknown color.
Johnson is considered a vulnerable missing child due to his special needs, the police said. His current whereabouts are unknown.
