(NewsNation) — Brooklyn Beckham is showing love for his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham on one of their anniversaries.
The couple took to their respective Instagram pages to mark one year since they renewed their wedding vows.
“Happy anniversary Nicola,” Brooklyn wrote. “I can’t tell you how much I love you x you are my best friend and I love you more than life itself xx I am so lucky to be able to call you my wife xx you are my absolute princess and I promise to always protect you xx,” he said, adding a red heart emoji.

In her post, the “Transformers: Age of Extinction” actress thanked Brooklyn for being a great husband.
“Happy anniversary my love. You make life so beautiful,” she captioned her post, which features a photo of them kissing and holding wine glasses. “Thank you for being the most amazing husband I could ever dream of.”

Their posts come months after Brooklyn made it clear he has no plans to reconcile with his famous parents, Victoria and David Beckham, accusing them of trying to sabotage his marriage to Peltz Beckham, whom he wed in 2022.
“I have been silent for years and have made every attempt to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed,” Brooklyn said in a lengthy post on his Instagram Stories in January.

He continued, “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”
The eldest Beckham child confirmed rumors that his mother “hijacked” what was supposed to be his first dance with Nicola.
“My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance, to a romantic love song,” he claimed. “In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead.”

The 27-year-old accused Victoria Beckham of dancing “inappropriately’ on him in front of wedding guests, which he described as the most humiliating moment of his life.
“We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment,” he wrote.
