THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — A 68-year-old woman who uses a walker went missing with her dog in the Bronx, according to police sources.

Aleja Pizarro, the missing, was last seen at her residence on Wednesday, police said.

A family member who lives with Pizarro told police they stepped out from the residence located on West 174th Street. When they returned, Alejo and her dog were nowhere to be found, according to police sources.

Pizarro is a woman who stands at around 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. She has short brown hair and uses a walker for mobility, according to police. She may be accompanied by her dog, which appears to be a Shih Tzu mix.
