MONTGOMERY COUNTY, N.Y. (WRGB) — Five people are charged with gang assault after an attack at a Thruway rest area. New York State Police say three of the people charged are 15, 16 and 17 years old.
The attack happened Wednesday at the Pattersonville Rest Area.

State Police say the five people hit two employees who were out on break. They say one employee knew several people in the car.
A 22-year-old victim was cut with a utility knife. He has significant but non-life-threatening injuries.
The two adults arrested, Sincere Germain, 21, and Jermaine Alterma, Jr., 19, both of Schenectady, were arraigned in Florida Town Court.
The 16- and 17-year-olds will be arraigned in Youth Court.
The 15-year-old was released to his parents.
The driver of the vehicle is not facing charges.
