Two men were wounded in a caught-on-camera broad daylight shooting committed by a hooded gunman at a Bronx pedestrian plaza Thursday, police said.
The victims, aged 20 and 31, were struck at West Farm Square plaza near Boston Road and E. Tremont Ave. shortly after 6 p.m., according to law enforcement.
The younger man was hit in the leg, while the other victim was wounded in the buttocks, said police.
Medics rushed both men to St. Barnabas Hospital, where they’re expected to survive.

Video obtained by the Daily News shows the gunman, wearing a white hoodie and black pants, opening fire inside the plaza. One man sitting on a bench can be seen falling to the ground.
A clerk at a nearby bodega was hard at work when the shooting started.
“He came from across the street and when he got closer pulled a gun,” said 58-year-old Ali Malahi. “Pow! Pow! Pow! He started shooting at guys sitting on a bench. One was hit in the knee. Everyone went running.”

A vendor selling fruit in the plaza was just steps away when the gunman opened fire.
“He came running and started shooting. It was like five or six shots,” said the vendor, who refused to share his name. “You could hear the glass breaking on the storefront. Everybody started screaming and running.”
No arrests had been made Thursday.
