‘Armed and dangerous’ man wanted in connection to NY homicide has ties to Plattsburgh, police say
New York State Police are asking the public to help them locate a man wanted in Orange County who has ties to Plattsburgh.
NYSP said Thomas Ryan, 32, is a suspect in a homicide investigation in Greenville. Police believe Ryan may have killed a man and deliberately set fire to a home on Greenville Turnpike on Thursday night before fleeing the area.
Ryan should be considered armed and dangerous, according to police. Investigators said he is known to frequent the Plattsburgh area.
Ryan is believed to be operating a 2016 gray Toyota Prius bearing NY license plate HNH-7671. Ryan is 6’2” and approximately 200 pounds. He was last seen in the area of Greenville Turnpike wearing black sweatpants and a black T-shirt.
