A third body has been found after a fire and explosion at a five-story Bronx apartment building, the FDNY said Saturday.
Officials said at least 14 others were injured when the blaze broke out on East 209th Street, between Decatur Avenue and Parkside Place in Norwood, Wednesday afternoon. One person remains hospitalized.
A woman told NY1 she believes her aunt is one of the bodies recovered from the building. The medical examiner has not confirmed the identities of the victims.
Dozens of building residents have been displaced. An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing, according to the FDNY.
