A mystery man is accused of collecting deposits for an apartment in the Bronx.
THE BRONX (WABC) — Police are searching for a man who is wanted in a rental apartment scam in the Bronx.
The man reportedly bet three different people back in May about an apartment near the Botanical Garden on Marion Avenue. Each victim gave him a security deposit.
Police say the scam netted the suspect $3,900.
There were no injuries reported in the incident.
