ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Gas prices are dropping across the Rochester area and New York state.

According to AAA, Rochester’s average gas price is $4.23 per gallon on Monday, down four cents from a week ago. New York’s average is $4.16 per gallon, down six cents from last week.

Wholesale gas prices are dropping fast, with some down near $3.80 per gallon Monday morning.
