1911 Established is unveiling this year’s signature drink for the New York State Fair.

It’s called the “Empire State Sparkler” and costs $17.

Eddie Brennan, president of 1911 and Beak & Skiff, says his team gets together every year to talk about “what’s the craziest drink they can come up with” for the NYS Fair and this year there’s a lot in it. Brennan calls it a ‘meal in a glass’ including eight percent alcohol.

“We are releasing our new cranberry vodka so that’s the base,” Brennan said. “We have a boba layer and then we like to pile things on top. We have whipped cream, cake pops, all kinds of candy. As outrageous as possible for the Fair.”

The yearly creations are always popular on social media and Brennan says fans have embraced the drink naming contest and this year had over a thousand comments.

Brennan appeared on Today in Central New York Tuesday to talk about the drink. You can watch the interview by clicking above.

1911 will also have its hard ciders at the State Fair and cocktails including the Tipsy Cow.
