Organized by the Climate Group – in collaboration with the United Nations and the City of New York – Climate Week is the largest global climate event after COP. It includes over 1,000 events, bringing together more than 100,000 people. From global leaders shaping markets and policy, to communities driving change on the ground, it connects the people and ideas transforming how we live, work, and build a low-carbon economy and a more secure future.
In 2026, FSC will return to Climate Week NYC for at least the fifth time. Over the years, FSC has grown its presence through the Nature Hub, closer work with Nature4Climate and the World Climate Foundation, and engagement around sustainable finance and climate-tech communities.
The week is an important opportunity to demonstrate responsible forest stewardship as an essential climate solution, emphasizing the importance of Indigenous Peoples’ leadership and sustainable finance, while strengthening relationships with key partners ahead of COP31 in Türkiye.
