A 50-year-old man has been arrested for fatally stabbing an acquaintance half his age a month ago on Staten Island, police said Tuesday.
Jonathan Griffin was charged Monday with murder, weapon possession and criminal contempt, for violating an order of protection, police said.
He knew victim Kycell Terry, 25, though their exact relationship wasn’t clear Tuesday, police said Tuesday.

Terry was stabbed repeatedly in the stomach inside a building on Ann St. near Park Ave. in Port Richmond about 7 a.m. July 2. He died at the scene.
The victim lived about nine blocks from where he was killed.
The suspect, who lives a few blocks from the crime scene, has about 25 prior arrests, police said, including numerous for drug possession. His murder arraignment was pending in Staten Island Criminal Court Tuesday.
