Gazillion Bubble Show, which had been scheduled to end its nearly 20-year run in September, will entertain audiences at Off-Broadway’s New World Stages a few more months.

Due to ticket demand, the long-running show will now play its final performance January 18, 2027. The extension will allow the production to celebrate its 20th anniversary in New York City before its last show.

Originally scheduled for nine
performances at Off-Broadway’s New World Stages in 2007, the production was founded by Bubble Artist Fan Yang and will have played for over one million attendees. The long-running family
favorite has starred members of the Yang family: Fan, Ana, Jano, Deni,
and Melody.

Gazillion Bubble Show offers audiences a combination of bubble artistry, lasers, lights, music, and interactive theatrical magic. Plans are underway for a national and international tour. 

“For 19 years, New York has dreamed in bubbles, and we are overwhelmed by the response from audiences since announcing the show’s closing,” said founder and creator Fan Yang in a statement. “Families who have been coming to the show for years—and families discovering us for the very first time—have reminded us how much Gazillion Bubble Show has become part of New York. We are thrilled that we can keep the bubbles flying a little longer, celebrate one final holiday season together, and mark our 20th anniversary in the city where this incredible journey began.”

Gazillion Bubble Show has always been about joy, wonder, imagination, and bringing people together, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate this extraordinary New York run than with audiences throughout the holidays, into the new year, and as we reach our 20th anniversary.”

The show made headlines in 2008 when over three tons of bubble solution utilized in the production were stolen.
