SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Great New York State Fair will spotlight the State’s diverse cultures, industries and traditions with a lineup of Special Days during its run.
The Fair will take place from Aug. 26 through Sept. 7 and feature themed celebrations.
Special Days at the 2026 New York State Fair are:
Wednesday, Aug. 26: Opening Day
Thursday, Aug. 27: Grape Day, Agriculture Career Day, and Student Youth Day
Friday, Aug. 28: LGBTQ+ Pride Day and New Americans Day
Monday, Aug. 31: Law Enforcement Day, State Parks Day, and Maple Day
Tuesday, Sept. 1: Fire, Rescue and EMS Day, Beef Day, and Tasty Tuesday
Wednesday, Sept. 2: Women’s Day and Sensory Friendly Day
Thursday, Sept. 3: Armed Forces Day, Dairy Day, and Stomp Out Stigma
Friday, Sept. 4: Native Americans Day
Saturday, Sept. 5: Rhythm & Resources Job Fair
Monday, Sept. 7: Labor Day
