New York City’s rollout of a new tax on luxury second homes for out-of-towners is back on track after it was temporarily blocked by a Staten Island judge Monday night.
The city appealed the judge’s temporary restraining order, allowing the rollout to continue until a higher court weighs in.
Randy Mastro, the lawyer behind the lawsuit, joined NY1’s Bobby Cuza on “Inside City Hall” Tuesday to discuss more.
He also previously served as first deputy mayor under Eric Adams.
