There are a few good shows coming to Lincoln Center Theater’s Vivian Beaumont Theater this season, and the first is a Broadway revival of Aaron Sorkin’s breakthrough work, the military legal thriller A Few Good Men. First performed on Broadway in 1989, the play made Sorkin’s name and became an Oscar-nominated movie three years later.
This new production, running for 13 weeks starting October 8, is directed by multi-Tony-winner Michael Arden (Parade, Maybe Happy Ending, The Lost Boys) and stars Bradley Whitford (The West Wing, The Handmaid’s Tale) — who appeared in the original production — and Tom Blyth (The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, Billy the Kid) in his Broadway debut.
