WAKEFIELD, The Bronx (PIX11) — A 14-year-old boy was arrested for allegedly shooting a teen in the head on a Bronx street Tuesday night, according to police.
The suspect was riding a bike when he pulled a gun and fired several rounds at a 17-year-old boy on East 228th Street in Wakefield just before 7 p.m., authorities said.

The 17-year-old was talking to someone on the sidewalk when the gunfire erupted. The victim was hit once and suffered a graze wound to te left side of his head, police said.
He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
The 14-year-old then fled on his bike before he was arrested at around 2:35 a.m. Wednesday. The suspect was charged with attempted murder, police said.
