MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A man was behind bars in the Riley County Jail following his arrest Thursday afternoon in connection with lewd and lascivious acts involving a pair of teen girls in Manhattan, officials said.
The arrested man was identified as Kevin Kendre Brown, 42, of Manhattan.
Riley County police officers filed a report for lewd and lascivious acts around 11:04 a.m. on Oct. 29 in Manhattan, officials said.
A 16-year-old girl and a 15-year-old girl were listed as the victims, while a 42-year-old man known to the victims — later identified as Brown — was listed as the suspect.
Riley County Police officials said Brown was arrested around 2:12 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, in the 2200 block of Browning Avenue on the northwest side of Manhattan.

Brown was subsequently booked into the Riley County Jail in connection with four counts of lewd and lascivious behavior-exposing sex organs to a person under age 16; and three counts of lewd and lascivious behavior, exposing sexual organs to a person over the age of 16, officials said.
Brown remained in the Riley County Jail on Friday morning, where he was being held on a $41,000 bond, officials said.
Because of the nature of the crime that was reported, additional details weren’t being released, officials said.
