Ranking app Yelp has long relied on real-person reviews, ratings, and recommendations to help people discover everything from neighborhood gems to must-visit attractions. Now, the platform is giving us another way to see what’s capturing New Yorkers’ and visitors’ attention, rounding up the 50 most-saved attractions in NYC to create a snapshot of the places people are most eager to add to their itineraries across all five boroughs.
The list includes plenty of familiar favorites, but there are also some unexpected picks that might have you rethinking your next NYC adventure.

The top ten
Manhattan completely dominates the upper tier of the list, holding every single spot in the top 10. The top places reflect a mix of world-renowned culture and iconic public spaces, led by Chelsea Market at #1 and The High Line at #2—showing a strong user preference for walkable, multi-use destinations that combine food, views, and historic architecture.
High-ranking cultural heavyweights include premier art institutions like The Metropolitan Museum of Art (#3) and The Museum of Modern Art (#4), as well as science and natural history staples like the American Museum of Natural History (#10).
Beyond world-class museums, the top tier highlights experiential and lifestyle-driven spots, ranging from city views at Top of the Rock (#6) and relaxation at Aire Ancient Baths (#5) to beloved literary havens like Strand Bookstore (#8) and Kinokuniya (#9), rounded out by intimate late-night entertainment at Smalls Jazz Club (#7).

To prevent Manhattan from completely sweeping the list, Yelp deliberately capped representation at 10 attractions per borough. This design choice forces geographical diversity, surfacing hidden neighborhood gems like archery ranges in Flushing, historic forts on Staten Island, and massive thrift warehouses in Bushwick alongside Manhattan’s heavy-hitting icons.
