East Coweta High School is inviting former Homecoming Queens from across the decades to return for this year’s Homecoming Parade.
Former queens from the 1950s through the present are being sought to participate in the Sept. 17 parade at East Coweta High School.
Organizers said the response has already been strong. After one day of advertising the event, 14 former Homecoming Queens representing five decades of East Coweta students had signed up to participate.
Organizers hope to reach additional former queens and bring together generations of East Coweta graduates for the celebration.
A large flatbed trailer is needed for the parade, according to organizers.
