On August 11, 2026, at approximately 2:24 p.m., New York State Police at Oneonta arrested Jason L. Roseboom, 46 of Oneonta, following an investigation into the unauthorized use of a debit card.
An investigation determined that Roseboom made several transactions using a debit card that did not belong to him.
Roseboom was located at a residence in the City of Oneonta and taken into custody without incident. He was charged with:
Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 4th degree, a class “E” felonyIdentity Theft in the 3rd degree, a misdemeanor
Roseboom was processed at SP Oneonta and issued appearance tickets to the Oneonta Town Court on September 15, 2026.
