STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Authorities say an NYPD drone captured images of cocaine being thrown out a window during the raid of a home in West Brighton.
Natasha Rayford, 38, was arrested after officers executed a search warrant at her apartment on Caroline Street near Cary Avenue at around 6 a.m. on Oct. 24. The complaint was based on an investigation by the NYPD Criminal Intelligence Section.
The Drone Team of the Technical Assistance Response Unit was conducting surveillance when an individual allegedly was observed tossing an object out the window of Rayford’s apartment, according to the criminal complaint and police.
