Kristen Cruz and Taryn Brasher head into the semifinals of the Manhattan Beach Open as the top seed in the women’s draw.

After early upsets to start the 2026 Manhattan Beach Open, the top two seeds in the women’s draw remain, and three top six seeds in the men’s draw. In the women’s draw, the top-seeded team of Kristen Cruz and Taryn Brasher is challenged by the 14th-seeded team of Abby van Winkle and Torrey Van Winde. The winner of that match will face off with the winner coming out of the bottom half of the bracket. Kelly Cheng and Megan Kraft are the second seeds in the tournament. They take on the 12th-seeded team of Maddie Anderson and Alaina Chacon.

Over in the men’s draw, the top half of the bracket featured the most upsets. Sixth-seeded Lotman and Partain take on 12th-seeded Hurts and Basey. The top-seeded team of Chase Budinger and Trevor Crabb were upset in the first round, along with three of the other top 10 seeded teams.

The bottom half of the bracket features the biggest matchup of the tournament. Andrew Benesh and Taylor Crabb started the tournament as the second seeds and have to take on the third seeds to make the finals.
